James Barnes

James has over 25 years of experience in systems, network, and telecommunications design and administration; with a focus on delivering secure, reliable, and cost efficient solutions for the legal, health care, engineering and public health sectors. He also has a degree in law from the University of San Francisco where he focused on privacy and security policy.

James has spent most of his career providing contract CTO services to businesses with 20-100 employees as well as to rapidly growing startups. Prior to forming CloudFast, James was the founder and principal of Mettacom, LLC which provided full service IT management to Bay Area small businesses for over 15 years.
